Life Time - Gran Fondo

Saturday, November 18, 2012 – San Antonio, Texas

Join your fellow riders as we start our adventure near Six Flags Fiesta Texas and the University of Texas at San Antonio before we head north through the majesty of Texas Hill Country – the focus of our final Gran Fondo of 2012. We will loop up and around Rancho Diana Park and enjoy the quiet solitude of late fall cycling. The post-race party is sure to be a hit with local BBQ masters and live music.

7:30am for 100k riders
8:30am for 50k riders
9:30am for 25k riders

Adding to the challenge and excitement of the event, riders of the 100k will encounter several 'Race within a Ride' elements, including - King and Queen of the Mountain, Time Trial and Sprint. Fastest male and female cyclists in each category will earn a custom jersey!

Stick around after the ride for refreshments at the Life Time Gran Fondo Post Ride Party! Participants receive a full tex mex meal, free beverages, and the crowning of the Life Time Gran Fondo King and Queen of the mountain, sprint and time trial for each age group! Please bring lawn, camping or pop up chairs to relax in after the ride.

It’s important to remember that the Life Time Gran Fondo is a ride, not a race. All roads will be open to traffic and you MUST follow normal traffic laws or face disqualification.
